I wanted a bit more audio for my 148gtl and I don't like running the box all the time. This little board did the trick gives the rig a solid 5wdk with a nice solid 25w swing (stock 3 1/2 dk , 8wswing) On ssb 35+w over the stock 12w. Well worth the $ , had my local tech install with no problem , it does get allittle warm but I'll install the heatsink and fan assembly soon. FYI I only input 1/2w into the board it will take more along with more heat.
